2018 Lee Pyramid Resource Fair

The 2018 Lee Pyramid Resource Fair will be held on Tuesday, August 7 from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help both during the event and with setup and clean up. FCPS Summer Feeding Program

Monday-Friday, through August 24, 11:30 am-1:30 pm

Go to www.summerlunchbunch.org to find locations and to sign up for volunteer shifts in the Lee District/Springfield area. Goal is to serve 200 children per day in the Springfield area alone! Springfield sites are apartment complexes in Springfield: Chelsea Gardens, Springfield Crossing, Springfield Gardens and Springfield Square.

Gleaning from Farmers Markets

Help collect leftover food from area farmers markets to donate to Food for Others, 2938 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax 22031.

Pick up food: Thursdays, 4-7:30 pm, Huntington Market at Metro on Kings Highway; Fridays, 4-7 pm, Giant at Kingstowne, through October 26; Saturdays, Burke VRE parking lot, 5671 Roberts Parkway, through October; Saturdays, Mosaic Central Farm Market on District Avenue in the Mosaic District.
